Slow Stitch, Kantha and Sashiko

You'd be amazed how many day to day ingredients can transform fabrics by adding exciting colours. Some dye baths will be alredy made up, others you will create yourself. Embellished Mandala Textile Art

During this workshop, embroidery artist Jessica Grady will teach you a selection of her contemporary and colourful mixed media embroidery and embellishment techniques to create your own unique mandala design. Techniques will include metallic fabric sequins, painted metal washers and hand dyed DIY materials - repurposed as brightly coloured embellishments. Crazy Patchwork

My favourite kind of patchwork and the ultimate in recycling scraps of fabric. Once you've mastered the 'rules' your creation will be a very personal item.
