The Bee Loft, Angram
York, YO23 3PA United Kingdom

£65

My favourite type of patchwork and trickier than many people think. Make your work modern or be sumptuously traditional using the extensive hoard of fabrics in the Bee Loft. Slow stitch, Kantha and Sashiko

June 4, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
£65

All over the world a simple running stitch has been used in the making, mending and embellishing fabric, particularly clothing. Looking at vintage items and samples from different parts of the world. The way in which stitch has been used to hold cloth together, whether it be darning or decoration will inform the items we make during the day. Designed to be a gentle class, an antidote to the intrusive noise and fast living of 21st century life.
